Trust & policies

Five commitments, each backed by shipped engine code rather than intention. The live numbers behind them are on the Integrity Board.

Market integrity

Every market runs on an append-only ledger whose balances must sum to zero at all times — checked live on the Integrity Board and re-verified by a 22-invariant reconciliation every 5 minutes. Any drift halts money movement automatically rather than letting an inconsistency spread.

Seven surveillance detectors run continuously: insider timing, large-holder concentration, wash trading, cross-account wash graphs, spoofing/layering, fast-cancel quote flicker, and risk-free arbitrage baskets. Price-move circuit breakers bound how far a single order can move a market, and self-trading is rejected at the matching engine itself.

Stopping insider trading

Operator and market-maker accounts are subject to conflict-of-interest controls enforced in the money path: accounts connected to a market's operation are blocked from trading it (or every such trade is flagged to an audit trail the compliance team reviews). Resolution staff cannot trade at all during the resolution window of markets they touch.

Because every market's resolution criteria are hash-locked before the first trade (our Deterministic Resolution Spec), there is no discretionary resolution decision to front-run — the rules are fixed, public, and tamper-evident.

Responsible gambling

Deposit caps, loss limits, and self-exclusion are enforced by the engine at the moment of the transaction — a self-excluded account cannot deposit or trade even if the interface fails to hide the button. Limits can be tightened instantly; loosening takes effect only after a cooling-off period.

We deliberately key engagement features to forecasting accuracy, never to volume or frequency — leaderboards rank calibration, not bankroll, and the platform's own aggregate calibration is published at /accuracy, recomputable from public logs. If trading stops being a skill you are exercising and starts being a compulsion, use the self-exclusion controls in your account settings, and seek support.

Banned markets

We do not list markets on:

  • violence, harm, or death of identifiable people;
  • terrorism, atrocities, or their outcomes;
  • anything involving minors;
  • outcomes a participant could unilaterally cause and profit from;
  • questions whose resolution criteria cannot be made objective — every market must pass the Deterministic Resolution Spec bar (source, exact field, deadline, worked examples) before it opens.

The last rule is structural, not editorial: a market that cannot state precisely how it resolves cannot be listed at all.

Trust & safety for families

Predikon is an 18+ real-money venue. Accounts are individually verified before real-money features unlock, sessions can be terminated from account settings, and two-factor authentication is rolling out ahead of funding rails so a family member's access to a device is not access to an account.

If someone in your household is trading compulsively, the self-exclusion controls apply to the account permanently or for a fixed period — and exclusion is enforced by the money engine, not by willpower.
